Lancaster, California RV Run
Today was a short run from Winnemucca to Lancaster, driving down 95. Thankfully it was a shorter day because I had to go slow due to a lot of hills and 55 mph limit in California. Also, the wind at the end was downright frightening. I kept thinking that the scenery would get better, but it was desert all the way. No phone service all day too. I went through Bishop, but couldn't see the mountains due to smoke from the many fires in the area. Bishop reminded me of my dad as I remember going to the high Sierra's with him and going through Bishop. I miss him. Did laundry and washed the car. Glad to be done driving the RV. It was a long three days from Calgary. Tomorrow I will head to Indiana to get another one.
